How You Met:

I (Paulina) have the privilege of saying that Robby was my high school sweetheart. We were both in a business course and actually didn’t even introduce ourselves until close to halfway through the school year. I remember going home from school to gush to my mom about how cute I thought he was and how he made me all giddy. He was my all-time high school crush; I would fill with butterflies when he walked me to my locker, and grinned from ear-to-ear when I saw his name pop up on my phone to call me and say goodnight.

the proposal:

The day started like any other, getting up and going to work. Except this day was a little more exciting because after work, Robby and I were planning to go on a dinner date, then to see Wicked at the BJCC. Robby tells me that we have to stop by Trinity United Methodist Church, where his mom works, to grab some suitcases out of her office (because we were leaving for a cruise in a couple of days). We were exchanging out typical sweet-nothings when we approached the gate door that enters the prayer garden. I have only seen the prayer garden while sitting inside the church, never actually going in, but always secretly wanting to. Robby had to tell me that before getting the suitcases he wanted to go inside. After tearfully accepting his proposal, his family and my family flooded out of the church to celebrate in the moment with us.
