TJ had this elaborate plan of how he was going to propose, but I (BriAnn) kept ruining it by wanting to stay home and relax. Finally, after the fourth time of changing plans, he brought me breakfast in bed and proposed.
the wedding dress:
Because I grew up on an army base in Germany, my closest friends are now spread across the world. Luckily, my best friend Maggie and Ashleigh flew in to surprise me and planned a whole weekend of dress shopping. I had gone to Bella’s a few months before to get a bridesmaid dress for another wedding I was in, and saw this dress on a mannequin, and I fell in love with it. When the lady at the front said she can get it for me to try on, I laughed it off and said, “It’s going to be a long time before I do that.” Three months later, we came back to Bella’s and after trying on two dresses, I grabbed a third and tried it on. It was the one I saw on the mannequin, and it fit perfectly.
My favorite moment was receiving the locket from TJ that he had personalized with a picture of our dogs, Roscoe and Mikey.
what you are doing now:
I am a licensed attorney. I graduated with an MBA in business administration and a juris doctorate a month before the wedding. TJ is a manager at a local business, and we are living in our first home with our fur babies.
