How you met:

Kelsey initiated a meeting for a case she and Shaun had in common. After the meeting, Shaun transferred the case and spent two weeks walking by Kelsey’s offices, finding any reason to speak with Kelsey. Kelsey cut to the chase and gave Shaun her number.

The Proposal:

With the help of their courthouse family, Shaun sent Kelsey on a scavenger hunt around the courthouse till she ended in Courtroom 5, where friends and family were waiting in the jury box. This courtroom ended up being the same courtroom they got married.

Favorite Moment:

Seeing how Judge Moore, Judge Bostick and Judge Fuhrmeister were just as nervous and excited as they were as they presided over the wedding.

The Wedding Dress:

IDoBridalCouture – Kelsey wanted something to match how unique the ceremony was, so she chose a blush pink dress rather than traditional white.

favorite wedding detail:

Kelsey loves to bake in her free time, so she made mini cupcakes as party favors for guests to take with them in personalized cupcake boxes. Kelsey and Shaun’s brother-in-law, Shane Kelly, owns Interstellar Ginger Beer and Exploration Company, and he created signature drinks for the special event.

what you are doing now:

Shaun is currently an Assistant District Attorney in Shelby County, and Kelsey is a Victims Advocate for SafeHouse of Shelby County.
